I Had No Idea You Could
Legally Order Cannabis Online.
Here’s How It Actually Works.

For years my routine was the same. Get in the car, drive 25 minutes, wait in line, pay whatever the sign said, drive home. I never thought about it because I figured that was the only way. Then my cousin texted me a link and said, “You know you can just order this online, right?” I didn’t. So I tried it, and I’m writing this down because I know I’m not the only one who had no idea.

The cannabis I ordered is hemp-derived THCA flower, grown on small American farms. Hemp-derived cannabis is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, which is why a company can ship it to your door.

I went to buysmokes.com, confirmed I’m 21 or older, and browsed. There’s flower, pre-rolls, concentrates and gummies. Each product lists the price per gram, so I could compare without doing math. I added my pick to the cart and checked out like any other online order.

Every product is third-party lab tested, and I could read the results before I bought. That mattered to me, because I’d never had a way to check that before.

No logos and no smell. It looked like any package from USPS. Nobody on my street would have guessed what was in it.

I had one question about my order and got an answer from a real person.
