HAZED DOWNSTEM

Beyond the eye-catching design, every part of the Hazed Downstem is built for great function. From the material choice to the finish, these specs translate directly into a better experience, offering durability, performance, and convenience.

This downstem is engineered with features that improve both its usability and performance, like its heat-resistant borosilicate glass and cooling diffuser slits.

Picking the correct downstem length is the most important step for ensuring it works right. A stem that's too long will hit the bottom of your bong, and one that's too short won't diffuse properly in the water. The Hazed Downstem is designed to fit the two most common bong sizes perfectly. All versions use a standard 14mm joint size.

How Do I Measure My Current Downstem For A Replacement?

Measuring is simple and helps you order the right size the first time. Don't measure the entire piece from end to end. For an accurate measurement, follow these steps:

1. Start at the Joint: Place your ruler at the very bottom of the frosted glass joint section. This is the part that sits inside your bong's connection.
2. Measure to the End: Measure from the bottom of a joint straight down to the tip of the downstem.
3. Match the Size: Round to the nearest available size. If your measurement is around 2.5 inches, choose our 2.5" option. If it's closer to 6 inches, the 6" option is your fit.

Which Size Is Best For My Bong Or Rig?

While measurements are best, you can often pick the right size based on your water pipe's style. As a general rule:

• 2.5-inch Downstem: This shorter length is ideal for most mini bongs, compact rigs, and water pipes under 8 inches tall.
• 6.0-inch Downstem: This is a standard size that fits a wide range of medium-to-large beaker bongs and straight tubes, typically those over 10 inches tall.

Getting the right size is essential for the best diffusion and a perfect fit. To measure a downstem, check the length from the bottom of the frosted joint to the tip.

The Hazed Downstem stands out in a world of plain glass accessories. We focused on combining a head-turning look with practical features that solve common problems, like safe storage and easy handling. The result is a downstem that's as enjoyable to look at as it is to use.

What Is Special About The Galaxy Print Finish?

The galaxy print is more than just a color; it's a unique finish that gives the glass a deep, multi-layered look. This durable coating is on the outside, so it won't interfere with function or flavor. Available in five different color schemes, it lets you customize your setup to match your style.

Does The Clamp-Lid Container Add Real Value?

Absolutely. The included container is designed specifically for this downstem. Its hard-shell plastic protects the glass from accidental bumps and drops during transport. The secure clamp-lid creates an airtight seal, locking in odors and keeping your downstem clean and ready for its next use. It's a thoughtful addition that makes this a complete solution, not just a replacement part.

When choosing a replacement part, it's helpful to see what you get for your money. While a basic glass downstem gets the job done, our Hazed Downstem offers significant upgrades in looks, handling, and convenience. Here's a quick look at how they stack up.

Under-$25 Downstem Alternatives

For a small price increase, the Hazed Downstem offers a more complete and stylish user experience, including an airtight container and a better-sealing frosted joint.

Keeping your Hazed Downstem clean is crucial for the best flavor and performance. Regular maintenance prevents buildup and ensures the diffuser slits work properly. We recommend cleaning it at least once a week with heavy use. A simple soak and rinse is usually all it takes to make it look new again.

Will Cleaning Damage The Galaxy Print?

No, the galaxy print finish is durable and designed to withstand regular cleaning. For best results, use a dedicated glass cleaning solution or a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt. Simply place the downstem in its container or a sealable bag with the solution, shake gently for a minute, and rinse it thoroughly with warm water. The print will remain vibrant.
