Today, we are going to share the top 5 Delta 8 side effects with you.

First and foremost, let’s start at the beginning. What is Delta 8 THC, Delta 8 tetrahydrocannabinol is a compound that became popular because of its similar side effects and resemblance of similar side effects to delta 9 THC, which all of us know and love. Because it is the compound that can provide a euphoric feeling that you can get from it. The similarities of Delta 9 and Delta 8 have lead to its increased popularity. It can create that happiness and euphoria, similar to the effects of THC. Some of the effects of delta 8 are very similar to the effects of delta 9, but just not quite as potent people report.

1. Mouth Dryness aka COTTONMOUTH

The first side effect that everybody runs into, is mouth dryness, aka cotton mouth. The feeling that we all get when we have smoked some amazing THC, yes, you can get similar side effects when smoking Delta 8 THC. Whether you're smoking Delta 8 or delta 9, getting cottonmouth is probably going to come along with it. You're going to notice that parched feeling as long as the Delta 8 is your system. Sometimes people get a little bit confused, and they think that you are getting dehydrated, have no fear, you are not dehydrated at all. It's simply a result of the impact of the enzymes on your saliva gland. That is a fun fact that you can share with your friends the next time you’re chilling.

 

2. Dry Eyes

The second common side effect of Delta 8 THC is dry eyes, yes, and this may include trying to rub your eyes and constantly get that moisture coming back so you can get the relief. We have a little tip for you guys, use some Visine or some Clear Eyes, either one of those will help bring back that moisture into your eyes, at least for the time being. Your dry eyes are going to last roughly as long as the Delta 8 THC is flowing through your system. But don't worry; it's going to dissipate as the effects of the Delta 8 THC ware off.

 

3. Anxiety

The third common side effect of Delta 8 THC is, anxiety. In smaller doses, it can help relieve paranoia and anxiety. But when you consume too much Delta 8 THC, you can start to feel a little bit jittery. Understand that consuming large amounts of Delta 8 could cause the anxiety feeling to onset. Be careful, start slow and remember we're all different. You should figure out your perfect dosage and go from there.

 

4. Highish State of Mind

The fourth common side effect of Delta 8 THC is a, highish state of mind. Some people report experiencing psychotropic effects from consuming Delta 8. They report that it's just not quite as potent or intense as THC. Basically, we're implying that, similar to THC, you may concentrate on all of your thoughts way too much, and have 100 thoughts running through your mind at the exact same time. Or on the other hand… wait, what are we talking about? You don't really have too many thoughts going on, and you're not able to concentrate on anything for too long.

 

5. Lack of Concentration

The fifth common Delta 8 THC side effect is, lack of concentration. We briefly mentioned this in the fourth side effect, and we're gonna dive deeper into that on this side effect. We are going to focus on lack of concentration at work specifically, no matter what you're doing and work can be anything, it's probably best to consume Delta 8 THC on your free time. When you're relaxing, because that's the general feeling people share from their Delta 8 expierances. Make sure that you are able to enjoy that relaxing time, so think of consuming Delta 8 THC at the end of the day, because if you get that highness, you will want to chill and relax.

 

Hopefully you don't have to focus on anything for far too long, because Delta 8 THC it may hinder your productivity. It may affect your cognitive and physical abilities, making it difficult to focus on the task at hand. Once again, go slow. You can always take more, you can't take less once you've already consumed it. Remember to find your perfect dosage and perfect way for consumption.
