Are Delta 8 Gummies the Best for a Relaxing High?

Users cite Delta 8 gummies as the best cannabinoid for a relaxing high, with CBD coming in as a second. Here’s what you should know about the popular cannabis strains before taking them.

How To Make the Most of a Chill Cannabis Sesh With Friends

One of the best ways to chill out is by hanging out with friends, and the right type of cannabinoid can be a spectacular addition to the gathering.  In controlled amounts, marijuana can bring relaxation. Trying cannabis with friends in a safe and trusted setting can enhance the mood of the group and let you completely immerse yourself in their feelings and fun. But before you plan the party, be sure to make a checklist of the kinds of cannabinoids you want on the guest list. The host should offer a wide selection of cannabis strains and products to ensure their guests have ample choices. With its expansive inventory of cannabis, Bay Smokes comes in handy when planning a sesh. For newbies, intermediate users, and experienced cannabis consumers, they offer options for Delta 8, several forms of CBD, and more. Most newer users opt for Delta 8 gummies for a controlled but exhilarating high, while CBD vape pens are quite popular with users looking for a non-psychoactive experience.

The Dos and Don’ts of a Cannabis Party

Any host can make their cannabis party a surefire hit by keeping in mind the following points.

  1. Be prepared with a sumptuous spread. A critical aspect of the party is ensuring guests are well fed. Ingesting cannabis after a meal can help prolong a high and the feeling of euphoria that comes with it. While cannabis can have a more potent high on an empty stomach, this could backfire if the dosage is miscalculated.
  1. Go easy on the alcohol. It’s usually best not to mix cannabis and alcohol. If they do, users should limit the amount of alcohol they ingest while consuming cannabis. If the host keeps alcohol on the menu, they should consider stocking lighter spirits.
  1. Plan some fun activities. Cannabis can ease and relax people, and some users suggest that the feeling of euphoria makes some hobbies more fun. Challenge your pals for a friendly video game match, a game of charades, or something that engages a group creatively.
  2. Make a playlist. When stoned, users won’t have the time to make a dance playlist on the spot. So, it’s a good idea to prepare one in advance. Have multiple playlists for different moods, whether you want to dance, relax, or a combination of both.
  3. Consume cannabis responsibly. Cannabis affects every person differently. Therefore, users should go easy on cannabis products. It is easy to excessively consume Delta 8 gummies since they take time to kick in. Some users swear by a CBD vape pen to calm down if they get too high, but it’s always a good idea to wait for the initial effects to set in before taking another dose.

Know How to Calm Anxiety

Despite the best measures, some guests may take an extra dose or two, which may lead to increased anxiety or an extreme high. As the host, you should have a few tricks up your sleeve should the need arise. If your guests are too high, try to distract them with some activities or games that can calm them down. Alternatively, you can delegate another friend to take them out for a stroll in the fresh air, which can help ease their mind and calm their anxiety.

If a guest is too high, ensure they keep themselves hydrated, but be sure to avoid sodas and caffeinated drinks. The latter can have an opposite calming effect as caffeine increases heart rate and blood pressure, which can elevate feelings of anxiety. Lemon water is an excellent option to help subdue anxiety. Another way to calm cannabis high is by smelling peppercorn. As unbelievable as it sounds, many users state that smelling black peppercorn has helped ease cannabis-induced anxiety.

These are just a few examples of how to calm anxiety. One underrated way to calm down after a cannabis high is to sleep it off. While it is easier said than done, sleeping it off is one of the best ways to keep calm. However, it is important to ensure that your guests sleep after the peak of the high has passed to avoid feeling disoriented the next day. If a guest is at the peak of their high, distract them using some of the ways mentioned above before getting them to sleep. This way, your guests would wake up without a heavy head and with many great memories!

6 Ways to Calm Down When You Get Too High

The popularity of Delta 8 carts are on the rise. Learn more about Bay Smokes Delta 8 or D8 products and why they are the safest option for beginners.

Can Delta 8 Carts Become Your New Best Friend?

In the last ten years, Delta 8 has emerged as a top choice for cannabis connoisseurs. Delta 8 cartridges or Delta 8 Carts have proved to be the most popular forms. For those new to the cannabis world, it is important to understand that Delta-8, or D8, is a rare cannabinoid found in naturally occurring cannabis plants. It is believed to work better for beginners since it is only about half as strong as Delta-9 THC.

At Bay Smokes, each 1-gram Delta 8 carts contains 925mg of pure D8. The remaining 75mg is terpenes. Cartridges come with multiple temperature settings and a preheat option, letting you control your experience even more. In addition, Bay Smokes’ cartridges are pocket-sized and designed to look sleek.

What Is a Delta 8 High Like?

While each person reacts differently to D8 products, users have generally described its effects as clarity-inducing, euphoric, and calming. A few hits from a cart can create a calming, chilled-out effect. Those who have tried D8 indicate that it can be used for recreational purposes and yields a mild but psychoactive head high. D8 high is said to be euphoric but not hard-hitting, which makes it suitable as a relaxant.
The inventory at Bay Smokes includes several strains of cannabis in D8, including some fruity flavors for those who are cautious about their first try. The products have a faint scent and delicious flavor. Bay Smokes offers half-gram cartridges, which are perfect for those looking to experiment with flavors and find their favorite strain.

What Do First-timers Need To Know About Delta 8?

The first thing to know about D8 is that it is federally legal due to the 2018 Farm Bill. However, some states have still outlawed the consumption and selling of cannabis and its derivatives. Bay Smokes currently ships to states where D8 consumption is legal, and they advise the buyers to know more about their respective state’s policies before purchasing. Before trying D8, it is important to understand how long marijuana stays in your system. Cannabis can be detected in your body for 3 to 30 days, depending on how often you use it. However, how long marijuana can stay in your system varies based on several other factors such as metabolism rate and activity level. Unlike its cousin Delta-9, or D9, D8 is less potent. If used in moderation, D8 produces a high known for its calming effects.

How to Calm Down When You’re Too High

Before using D8 for the first time, it is best to formulate a backup plan. Many times, a miscalculated dose can lead to an excessive high, categorized by confusion, anxiety, paranoia, or panic. Symptoms of being too high can be uncomfortable, but they will fade. An essential tip for beginners is to try cannabis in the company of a trusted friend. Should you start exhibiting symptoms of being too high, here are some tips to get un-high and put your backup plan into action.

  1. Hydrate. Hydration is key. However, carbonated drinks, alcohol, and energy drinks should be avoided during this time. Instead, water and fruity juices work best to counter the effects of high.
  1. Avoid caffeine. Academics have explained that caffeine can cause hallucinations, affect heart rate, and raise blood pressure, which may already be elevated due to cannabis.
  1. Raid your kitchen. Two common items found in almost any kitchen – black pepper and lemons – are perfect to help counter the effects of overindulgence. Caryophyllene, a compound found in peppercorn, counters the effects of cannabis and can help calm you down. Smelling peppercorns can help reduce the effects of a high. Similarly, lemon juice in water can also have calming effects.
  1. Eat. Eating has helped many cannabis users reduce the effects of an extreme high. No matter what you snack on, eating something often helps you sober up.
  1. Distraction. Easier said than done, but one of the best ways to deal with an uncontrollable high is to take your mind off the current scenario with distractions, such as getting active, enjoying some fresh air, or watching a show or movie.
  2. Sleep it off. Sleeping off the effects is the easiest way to calm down after an excessive high. However, some say that sleeping when the high is at its peak can lead to slight disorientation in the morning. Therefore, it might be best to let some time pass after the high reaches its peak before sleeping it off.

What are Munchies and How To Deal With them

Munchies are one of the most common side effects of a cannabis high. While they can be dealt with, they can sometimes spoil the fun. Luckily, THCv, Delta 8, and CBD products can decrease the craving for munchies after a high.

One of the frequently listed side effects of cannabis by marijuana users is munchies or the extreme hunger pangs that result after the ingestion of cannabis. For those on weight loss programs or trying to cut food portions for medical reasons, munchies can be a spoilsport in what could have been a wholesome experience. However, there are easy ways to stave off the hunger pangs and enjoy the cannabis high.

The first step to tackling hunger pangs is to understand the structure of the cannabinoid and how it initiates the desire to eat, even when cannabis is consumed on a full stomach. THC, a component in cannabis, affects the part of the brain which controls hunger. After ingestion, THC creates cravings for sweets and carbs, which leads to post-marijuana binging. Additionally, THC activates the release of the happy hormone, which can instill a joyful or fulfilled feeling when consuming fried or sweet foods.

Getting high without succumbing to the hunger attack might sound difficult, but it is not impossible! THCv, a close relative of the Delta strains, can be used to suppress appetite.

What Is THCv, and Does It Help Keep Hunger Pangs in Check?

THCv works as a hunger suppressant. Instead of fueling appetite, this cannabinoid helps minimize appetite and cravings. At Bay Smokes, the wide selection of THCv products caters to beginner and expert users alike, whether they know their exact fix or whether they are in an exploration mode. THCv products at Bay Smokes come in incredible flavors like Strawberry Lemonade, Grape Ape, and Mango Kush, each of which has a unique fruity and tropical taste.

Bay Smokes also has an exciting inventory of D8 and CBD products. These cannabinoid products can help relieve stress and anxiety without instigating appetite. Instead of eating a whole tub of fried chicken or burger after burger, explore some options that can help diminish hunger pangs after ingesting marijuana.

7 Ways To Stave off the Munchies

THCv might suppress appetite, but every person has a different experience with cannabis. Therefore, for the best plan to avoid the munchies, it is good to have some tricks up your sleeve for a post-marijuana experience.

  1. Distraction. When you feel hungry after ingesting cannabis, the best way to overpower that feeling is by distracting yourself. Try to engage in an activity that can take your mind off food. Maybe challenge a friend to a video game or watch a movie you can really get into. You can avoid succumbing to the hunger pangs and successfully beat them by keeping yourself distracted.
  1. Plan your meals in advance. It is crucial to plan the three big meals on the day, along with some snacks, to ensure that you get the proper nutrition. Consuming cannabis on an empty stomach may give a more potent high, but it can cause more pronounced hunger pangs and increased appetite. On a full stomach, the effect of cannabis can last longer.
  1. Create distance from the kitchen. An excellent way to avoid extra eating is to avoid places with food. A walk in the open to take in the fresh air can also help subdue the high, in case you need to come down.
  1. Have a mint. As silly as it sounds, take a mint or brush your teeth with minty toothpaste. The contrasting flavors of mint and fried food can make a bad combination, helping you avoid certain foods or stop eating at the right time.
  1. Keep yourself hydrated. Hydration is as crucial as eating when it comes to the effects of marijuana. When under the influence of cannabis, sometimes our brain tricks us into believing that we need food when we’re thirsty. Drinking lots of fluids while taking cannabis and during the high is advisable for a hassle-free experience.
  1. Slow down. Easier said than done, but one way of controlling binge eating is by taking smaller bites. Slowing down the speed at which you eat can help ensure that you do not overindulge.
  1. Sleep it off. Sometimes it is best to sleep to avoid binge eating, so head to the bed instead of the refrigerator. However, it is important to note that one should wait till the peak of the high passes before one heads off to bed. Sleeping at the peak of the high can lead to disoriented mornings.

How To Use Hunger Attacks to Your Advantage

Cannabis lovers should be prepared for a situation where they may succumb to munchies. Try to stock up on healthy snacks like seeds, nuts, and salads for these periods. While under the influence of cannabis, people generally tend to go for carbs or sweets. If sweets are your post-marijuana go-to munch, try sweetened nuts or some fruit for a more guilt-free experience.

Sometimes, it is important not to fight hunger and, instead, try to stop eating at the right time. It’s okay to eat cautiously. If you do overindulge, you can try a workout the next day or before consuming marijuana.

Connoisseurs of cannabis are spoiled for choices with many types of cannabinoids available on the market, from different strengths to varying flavors. Therefore, it is crucial to understand which cannabinoid works best for you. Delta 9, or D9, has been a longstanding choice for cannabis customers due to its high and psychoactive effects. However, its cousin, Delta 8 or D8, has also become a popular choice over the years. There are countless people searching for “Delta 8 near me” every day. Before deciding on which to buy, it is important to know the differences between Delta 8 and Delta 9. While they both naturally occur in hemp and marijuana plants, D9 is more prevalent than D8. Cannabis users who have tried both explain that the high of D8 is half as potent as D9. The difference in the high is why Delta 8 is becoming popular among cannabis lovers – it is not as overpowering. D8 lets you enjoy your daily activities and hobbies with a euphoric push but without feeling out of control.

The Dos and Don’ts of Delta 9

Delta 9 is one of the strongest cannabinoids. Therefore, to ensure that the experience is safe and enjoyable, there are some do’s and don’ts to keep your experience elated and safe.

1. DO consume smaller quantities. The first rule to the right D9 experience is to consume smaller quantities, especially the gummies. Instead of taking multiple gummies at once, take one and wait for the effects to set in. Since D9 is highly potent, it should not be consumed in higher quantities. Bay Smokes advises that consumers start with ½ or one gummy and wait for at least two hours before taking the next.

2. DO decide when to eat. Deciding whether to eat before or after taking HHC gummies is a commonly discussed topic. Many believe that eating gummies before a meal gives a stronger kick, while eating after the meal ensures the effects last longer. Take your pick on what you want your experience to be like!

cannabis gummies

3. DO store gummies in a safe place. Always ensure that the gummies are stored in an airtight container (Bay Smokes takes care of that for you) and in a dark and cool place. You can also keep the gummies in the refrigerator

4. DO consume HHC gummies in a safe space. Consuming cannabis while in the company of trusted people is always advisable, especially for newcomers who may not have an understanding of the aftereffects

5. DO talk to a doctor for more information. If you have any doubts, it is best to consult a doctor. Overindulgence in cannabis can have unpleasant side effects, such as a higher heart rate and palpitations. It is best to consult a doctor before trying cannabis. If you’ve been prescribed medication, ensure that cannabis does not have any interactions with it before consuming.

Prepare for Delta 9 and HHC Highs

Before using cannabis, it is essential to understand what kind of high cannabinoids give and the effects they have. Users state that Delta 9 gives a euphoric and elated sense if consumed in the correct quantity. Delta 9 gummies at Bay Smokes will help consumers achieve the right high

Some users have reported that Delta 9 can give a sense of relaxation. The bliss-like body high is believed to last for a few hours without the need for additional amounts. The gummies can come in handy if you have difficulty calming down or if you need to relax after a strenuous day. It may even boost your mood enough to tackle a tricky situation if taken in an appropriate quantity.
As for HHC, professionals note that it is stronger than D8 and weaker than D9. Like the Delta family, HHC also has calming and euphoric effects. It helps relax both the mind and body when taken in the correct quantity. Therefore, it is best to try out some products before deciding what you like.

Where To Find the Right Product for You

It is essential to refer to verified sources for all cannabis products. With a trusted retailer, customers can ensure they are consuming the right products that are safe for use. Bay Smokes has an enviable inventory of products. Bay Smokes carries top-quality, tested, and lab-approved cannabinoids, making it a one-stop shop for new users or experienced users looking to try something new.
The Bay Smokes website categorizes its products based on the type of cannabinoid, the form in which cannabis can be consumed (such as cartridges, gummies, and vapes, to name a few), and the feeling the consumer hopes to achieve with the cannabis experience. This detailed indexing can help customers land the right product at the right price with the assurance of top-quality cannabis.

How Much THC is in Delta 8?

My name is Master Bong, reporting for Bay smokes. Today we wanted to go over another question that people were asking us. Yes, we’ve been answering a lot of questions that you guys have about Delta 8 THC. How much THC is in Delta 8 THC is another common question that everybody is always asking so we figured that we would address the question and put it out there for you guys to get informed.

How much THC is in Delta eight?

Delta 8 tetra-hydro-cannabinol is technically THC. It’s just in another form because it is derived from hemp plants that have less than 0.03% THC. All of this is thanks to the farm bill that was passed in 2018, talking about Delta 9 and addressing that but it did not mention anything about Delta 8.

Delta 8 THC is very similar to Delta 9 THC, so how much THC is in Delta 8? Let’s compare it a little bit more to Delta 9. Delta 8 and Delta 9 are almost identical, with the location of one chemical bond setting them apart. They’re extremely similar and both compounds activate your endocannabinoid system. The difference is in the structure of the molecules.

Delta 8 THC does generally make you feel relaxed, clear headed and creative without the paranoia that can come on with consuming cannabis which has a ton of THC relatively speaking. Again the effects of Delta 8 won’t be as strong as the effects you get from THC. It’s just going to be less intense. Basically the Delta 8 binds to the receptors slightly different in your body which might explain the milder effects of Delta 8 THC especially compared to THC.

Another observation about Delta 8 THC, is if regular THC generally makes you anxious or paranoid, Delta 8 could be a great, less potent alternative to THC. The biggest difference is that if you’re in any illegal state, this can legally get shipped to your door! That’s already two thumbs up for you because you don’t have to do anything crazy or illegal and you can just sit at home. Chill, relax and Ding Dong THERES YOUR DELTA 8 THC delivered right to your door.

Stay educated and get informed, so you can make a conscious decision in your life.

We’ve been answering quite a few questions for those of you who want to continue with the education process because getting educated is empowerment and when you are empowered you can make conscious wise decisions.

The Question is… Is Delta eight THC Synthetic?

We pulled up google to get a standard definition and it states: a substance made by chemical synthesis, especially to imitate a natural product.

Which leads us to another deviation to look up chemical synthesis, Chemical synthesis’ according to Wikipedia, states; In chemistry, chemical synthesis means using chemical reactions to get a product or several products. This happens by physical and chemical manipulations. Often several different chemical reactions are used one after another. In modern laboratory usage, a chemical synthesis is reproducible.

So, if an experiment is done a second time it will have the same results as the first time, reliable, not broken by small changes in conditions because of course, you can only have so many varying conditions when you’re running an experiment and it is established to work in multiple laboratories.

Let us sum all that up for you…

The answer is NO!!! Delta eight THC is not chemically synthesized because we just went over the definition of synthetic and chemical synthesis. Delta 8 THC is actually derived directly from CBD rich plants.

Concentrated amounts of Delta eight THC are typically manufactured from hemp derived cannabinoid aka CBD, naturally grown in the ground with the sun… Yes you could use artificial lighting, but there is still no process that’s been done in a laboratory to create Delta 8 THC so you don’t have to worry about any of that, remember that our bodies have cannabinoid receptors in them for a reason. Once again, to re-cap, Delta 8 THC is naturally produced in hemp derived cannabinoid CBD plants. There’s no laboratory. There’s no chemical process to make and create Delta 8. It’s all natural. We hope that answered that question for you guys. Starting with a few definitions helps all of us get on the same page. So we can be clear and educate ourselves. Have a great day and stay tuned for the next questions we will be answering.

How Many Cannabinoids are There?

So what are rare cannabinoids and how do they benefit? Cannabinoids offer benefits when they interact with the human body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) which regulates appetite, sleep, memory, mood, fertility, and production. Endocannabinoids are such molecules that help the body to keep the internal functions moving properly. These molecules establish a connection with endocannabinoid receptors. These receptors are found across the human body that notifies the ECS to step in. Enzymes break down into endocannabinoids after carrying out the mission.

Profile on THCP with Delta 8

What is THCp?

THCp is a naturally occurring rare cannabinoid that is 33 times more potent than THC on CB1 receptors and up to 10 times more potent than THC on the CB2 receptors. When blended with Delta8, THCp provides a unique effect that is entirely different from any other cannabinoids. For this, you don’t have to understand what Delta 8 is. THCp is more potent than THC, it lasts around 4-6 hours. According to some anecdotal reports, THCP may help in resetting cannabinoid tolerance. THCp and Delta8 provide a synergistic effect, in combination they react differently than they do by themselves. Use caution when you’re experimenting with THCp for the first time as THCp is very potent. Cannabis consumers like the different high that THCp produces.

Why Mix THCp and Delta8 THC?

When mixed with Delta8 THC, THCp provides a unique effect that is different from any other cannabinoids. This is a unique blend, it offers a fuller experience that is closer to what would be naturally present in the plant. However, the best part of this blend is that all cannabinoids work together and each unique combination produces different effects. After its debut, the sale for THCp has drastically increased. THCp expresses differently for different people.

What’s in the Cartridge of THCp & Delta8 THC?

Our cartridges are produced from the highest quality hemp-derived Delta8 THC and THCp. It comes with pure cannabis terpenes that give a superior smell and flavor. The potency is tested in the lab and the cartridge contains the highest quality, natural products. If you search THCp online, you will get pure and clean hemp cannabinoid products. The cartridge is free from potentially harmful diluents. When looking online you should choose those sellers who follow a 100% plant-based philosophy. If you are buying Delta8 online or offline, you should select a seller who tests their products by 3rd party, and cartridges with pure hemp extracts and terpenes from the plant are the best.

Which is The Best THCp Strain?

The Sativa dominant hybrids are the best THCp strain. Our Pineapple Express is fruity and floral with a tropical and pine flavor profile. The blend comes with 10mg of THCp per 1g cartridge. Choose products that have gone through 2 lab tests. One for THCp distillate, the raw ingredient, and another for Delta8+THCp blend, which is the final product. There are very few labs that can test THCp so THCp doesn’t show on the COA blend. Doing a lab test requires more expensive equipment, advanced testing staff, and a reference sample. For this, many manufacturers send THCp distillate (raw materials) to test because it has a high concentration of THCp. This process makes it easy to understand what is in the products.

What is THCp Distillate?

THCp distillate is a 100% hemp product. It is composed only of terpenes, other –p cannabinoids, and THCp. To isolate this rare cannabinoid other –p cannabinoid varieties are produced in THCp distillate. The rest of the distillate is terpenes that are precursors to these cannabinoids. From an internal reaction, the plant naturally produces cannabinoids that convert terpenes to all these cannabinoids. That’s why where –p cannabinoids are found, their terpene precursors are also found too. For these reasons, THCp and Delta8 THC cartridges are the greatest, most potent, and longest-lasting products in the history of cannabis products.
